Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting an Advanced Practice Provider to join an established Neurosurgery practice at Piedmont Athens Hospital. This full-time position involves a hybrid schedule with OR first assist duties, hospital rounding, and outpatient clinic visits.

You will work with experienced APPs and participate in weeknight and weekend call on a rotating basis. Responsibilities include patient histories, exams, chart documentation, and developing care plans to minimize complications.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Neurosurgical or surgical experience.
• Strong clinical judgment.
• Ability to work in hybrid OR/clinic roles.

Responsibilities

• First Assist with hospital rounding, consults, and patient discharges.
• Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in EMR.
