Job summary

Missouri Baptist Medical Center in Creve Coeur, within the Neurosurgery team, seeks a dedicated Medical Assistant for outpatient care. You will prepare exam rooms, take vital signs, perform phlebotomy and EKGs, and support the provider before and after procedures. A 40-hour week with day shifts and no on-call requirements is offered.

Minimum: High School Diploma or GED and CPR certification. 2–5 years MA experience preferred; benefits include comprehensive coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• CPR certification or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, clean and stock exam rooms and assist providers.
• Obtain vital signs and patient history; document promptly.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls and relay results with correct medical terminology.
• Assist specialty providers by preparing patients for exams and procedures.
