Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient prep and exams; support team for patient flow.
• Perform venipuncture, vaccines, specimen collection and testing as needed.
• Document activities in EMR; coordinate transitions of care and referrals.
• Provide telephone screening and clerical support; attend team huddles.
• Float to other MedStar sites; participate in safety and quality initiatives.
