Hartford HealthCare Medical Group in Connecticut is recruiting Surgical Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice RNs to join a neurosurgery-focused team. You will engage in 1:1 training with a neurosurgeon and participate as a 1st Assistant in the OR, contributing to cranial and spine procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Master’s program preferred.
• Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as a Physician Assistant / APRN in Connecticut.
• Certification or eligible to be certified as a Physician Assistant or NP (APRN).
• Preferred >1 year experience in Neurosurgery or Orthopedics; 1st Assist in OR preferred.

Responsibilities

• 1:1 training with a neurosurgeon.
• OR time – 1st Assist in procedures.
• Work with a team of advanced practitioners with Neurosurgery experience.
• Perform advanced cranial and spine surgical procedures with skull base focus.
• Established practice with patient-focused care.

• The opportunity to work with a team of advanced practitioners with an abundance of Neurosurgery experience
• Advanced surgical procedures both cranial and spine. Specializing in skull base procedures
• Established practice and staff who take time with their patients

Shift -FullTimefour 10-hour shifts, M-F. Hours may vary dependent upon case load
