OhioHealth Mansfield Neuro is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA/APRN) to work as a Surgery First Assist in hospital-based or same-day surgery settings. The role requires high-level clinical decision-making and collaboration with the surgical team.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, BLS, and NCCPA PA certification with compliant SA/SCA. Work shifts are variable with a 40-hour schedule in a fast-paced Neuro department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• BLS certification
• NCCPA certification/PA licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Surgery First Assist in collaboration with surgeon.
• Perform tasks within supervising physician's scope and privileges.
• Adhere to state laws, SA/SCA, and hospital policies.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as an HRO.
