Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join the Neurosurgery OR team in a PRN (as-needed) status. The provider will assist in cranial and spine neurosurgery for adults with first-assist experience in the OR.

The ideal candidate will be a PA or Acute Care NP with First Assisting experience, licensed/credentialed in the applicable states, and able to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience as Advanced Practice Provider in OR first assisting.
• PA or ACNP with First Assisting experience in an OR setting.
• APRN or PA credentialing and licensure in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Take medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
• Provide patient education and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care.
