Job summary

UChicago Medicine AdventHealth is hiring an RN to assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and to develop care plans with the interdisciplinary team. The role covers Neurology clinic needs and may travel to clinics in Bolingbrook, Carol Stream, and Woodridge.

The position requires an RN license and BLS certification, with 1+ year medical office experience and 5+ years critical care preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, day shift, with potential 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 1+ year medical office experience preferred.
• 5+ years critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform nursing procedures including IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization.
• Educate patients and families; promote self-management.
• Delegate tasks per hospital policy.
