Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neurology Unit on the day shift. This full-time role (36 hours/week) runs 7:00am–7:30pm with every other weekend required.

You will assess patients, coordinate care plans, educate families, and participate in quality initiatives to uphold nursing standards. Required: ADN/BSN from an accredited program, IL license, and AHA CPR.

Qualifications

• Requires ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current IL nursing license.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families and health care teams in person, by phone and in writing.
