Job summary

BAS HealthCare is looking for a Surgical Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice RN to join a dedicated Neurosurgery practice in Hartford, CT. This position offers a unique 1:1 training opportunity with an experienced neurosurgeon and involves performing advanced surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate should be licensed in Connecticut, have experience in surgical settings, and be ready to work in a full-time capacity with a structured four 10-hour shift schedule. Excellent benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Physician Assistant or APRN in Connecticut.
• Certification or eligibility for certification as a Physician Assistant or National Board Certification as an APRN required.
• Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience as a Surgical Physician Assistant in a Neurosurgery or Orthopedic setting.

Responsibilities

• Join a growing Neurosurgery practice.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures, both cranial and spine.
• Assist in the OR with 1st Assist responsibilities.
