Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to support neurosurgery services in Cleveland, Ohio. You will participate in pre-, intra-, and post-operative patient care, rounding on postoperative neurosurgical patients and coordinating inpatient care with a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves evaluating neurological and spine-related cases, responding to ED and inpatient consults, and assisting in the operating room while maintaining flexibility for a 24/7 inpatient service schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PA program or NP program with Acute Care certification.
• Current licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment and obtain clinical privileges within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on post-operative neurosurgical patients.
• Evaluating and managing inpatients with neurological and spine-related conditions.
• Responding to ED and inpatient neurosurgical consults.
• Assisting in the operating room.
