Job summary

Columbia Healthcare in Wenatchee, WA seeks an experienced Neurosurgery NP or PA to join its Neurosurgery & Spine team. This is a full-time role with four 10-hour shifts per week, providing inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and hospital-based care as first assistant in the operating room.

Qualifications

• Experience in neurosurgery or spine is preferred.
• New graduates will not be considered; prior APP experience is required.
• First assist in the operating room is advantageous.
• Strong collaboration with neurosurgeons and spine specialists is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations for neurosurgical patients.
• Evaluate postoperative patients and provide follow-up care.
• Develop differential diagnoses and treatment plans with neurosurgeons.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostics.
• Assist in the operating room with cranial and spine procedures.
• Conduct inpatient rounds and manage ICU patients.
• Discharge planning and documentation.
• Maintain BLS certification.
