Seattle Children's in Seattle, WA is seeking a dedicated, full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join our Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery team as First Assist. The role involves acting as the primary surgical first assistant and providing patient care across the OR, inpatient floors, ED, and ambulatory clinics.

Required are a Master's degree in pediatric/family NP or PA program, WA licensure, active national certification, and BLS/PALS; two years of pediatric health care experience is

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing with a pediatric or family NP concentration or PA program graduate.
• WA state licensure and active national certification for NP or PA required.
• 1 year of pediatric/family-focused clinical experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Act as primary surgical first assistant in pediatric orthopedic surgery cases.
• Obtain patient histories and perform physical exams across care settings.
• Coordinate care from OR to inpatient floors, ED and clinics.
• Order and interpret diagnostics; develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Participate in case management and ongoing quality improvement.
