Job summary

UMC Health System is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for the Neurosurgery clinic. The APP will work closely with neurosurgeons to provide autonomous, high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The role emphasizes improving access, efficiency, and patient outcomes. Applicants should hold a current, unrestricted NP/PA license and a BSN/MSN with completion of an accredited program, plus BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery settings.
• Collaborates with neurosurgeons to evaluate, diagnose, and manage complex neurological conditions.
• Maintains proper patient records and communicates with physicians regarding care and follow-up.
• Assists with coordinating care across the continuum and supports surgical services.

Education
