Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a professional RN and APRN in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurosurgery patient care across inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Perform rounds, pre-procedure evaluations, and follow-up visits.
• Order tests and consults as appropriate in collaboration with neurosurgery faculty.
• Document plans, interventions and outcomes clearly in medical records.
• Coordinate discharge planning and follow-up appointments with care team.
