Job summary

Joseph Michaels International is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgeon to join a physician-led group in the Northwest Indiana/Greater Chicagoland area. The role offers a high-volume surgical practice within a state-of-the-art hospital system and extensive professional backing.

You will collaborate with neuroradiology, orthopedics, and critical care teams, participate in a call rotation, and utilize EPIC EHR with AI-enhanced documentation in a HIMSS Stage VII environment.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in neurological surgery.
• Licensed to practice in Indiana or eligible for licensure in 90–120 days.
• Strong surgical and clinical proficiency across cranial and spine procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide cranial and complex/general spine neurosurgical care in inpatient, outpatient, and OR settings.
• Perform clinical evaluations, workups, and elective/emergent neurosurgical procedures.
• Participate in an equitable call rotation.
• Utilize advanced surgical technology and EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
• Collaborate with neurologists, spine surgeons, pain specialists, and critical care teams.
• Contribute to quality improvement and patient care pathways.
