Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in medicine is required.
• Texas medical license is required.
• Board certification in specialty or eligibility for ABMS/BOAO is required or expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide general neurosurgery with sub-specialization in functional, epilepsy, and neuro-oncology.
• Mentor residents, fellows and medical students in the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute.
• Engage in clinical care, teaching and translational research including ongoing clinical trials.

Education

Doctorate Degree in Medicine

Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board

Board certification or eligibility per ABMS/BOAO
