Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute in Temple, Texas. General neurosurgery with sub-specialization in functional, epilepsy, and neuro-oncology is preferred.

The candidate will be eligible for faculty appointment with rank commensurate with training and experience. The department offers a rich academic environment with active clinical and translational research programs and access to clinical trials.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Medicine is required.
• Texas medical license is required/strongly preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in neurosurgery by ABMS or BOS is required.

Responsibilities

• Join a renowned neurosurgery program in Texas with emphasis on clinical care, research and education.
• Mentor residents, fellows, and medical students in the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute.
• Engage in departmental research programs and participate in clinical trials.

Education

Doctorate Degree in Medicine

Licensed to Practice Medicine in Texas

Board certification in neurosurgery or eligibility by ABMS or Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
