Job summary

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team. We offer a two-year salary floor of $967,896, a $200,000 bonus, moving allowance, CME $6,000 and Time off 31 days up to 35 days per year, with tail coverage on malpractice and robust benefits.

The position includes complex spine, neurovascular, brain and trauma cases, with dedicated RN support and a 1:4 call schedule. EPIC EMR and a comprehensive spine center are available.

Responsibilities

• Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and busy trauma service
• Two Clinic Days/3 OR Days; APPs assist and daily inpatient rounding
• On-site imaging (X-Ray, CT, MRI/FMRI) and epically managed care
