MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team. We offer a 2-year salary floor of $967,896, a $200,000 bonus, moving allowance, CME $6,000 and time off 31–35 days per year, with tail malpractice coverage and 403(b) retirement benefits.

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is a 622-bed Level II Trauma center, with EPIC EMR, a robust spine center, dedicated RN support, and on-site imaging.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in neurosurgery.
• Experience with complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and trauma cases.

Responsabilités

• Two Clinic Days/3 OR Days per week.
• On-call requirement: 1:4 with APP handling first call.
• Collaborate with dedicated Clinic RN and Spine Center team.

Opportunity Details:

• Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and busy trauma service
• Two Clinic Days/3 OR Days
• No elective cases or clinic while on Trauma Call
• Dedicated Clinic RN for each Physician
• Call 1:4 with APP taking 1st call
• APPs primary assist with daily inpatient rounding
• On site X-Ray, CT and MRI/ Functional MRI
• Robust spine center with integrated Pain and PMR
• EMR: EPIC
