Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon with a special interest in spine, cranial, or endovascular neurosurgery to join our established team serving Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

The physician will share a 1:4 call schedule, collaborate with seven neurosurgeons, and have dedicated clinic and operating room time with excellent APP support to develop a focused elective practice across both

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery residency program.
• Interest or advanced training in spine, cranial, or endovascular neurosurgery preferred.

Advocate Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurosurgeon with a special interest in spine, cranial, or endovascular neurosurgery to join our established and growing neurosurgical team serving Advocate Christ Medical Center and Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, two premier tertiary care centers in the Chicago market.

This physician will join a collaborative team of seven neurosurgeons and work across both hospitals, participating in neurosurgical call and trauma coverage while having the opportunity to develop a focused elective practice aligned with their clinical interests. Niche subspecialty interests will be strongly supported, with elective case concentration primarily based at Advocate Christ Medical Center.

Supported by a robust multidisciplinary team and 24/7 advanced practice provider coverage, this position offers the resources, infrastructure, and referral base needed to build a thriving practice from day one.

Position Highlights

• Join an experienced team of 7 neurosurgeons across two high-volume hospital campuses.

• Practice at two leading Chicago-area neuroscience centers and Level I trauma facilities.

Compensation & Incentives

• Competitive two-year guaranteed salary of $900,000-$950,000, based on training, experience, board certifications, and overall qualifications.
