Job summary

Compass Pathways is seeking a Neuroscience Therapeutic Sales Specialist to drive adoption of its mental health therapy in Memphis, TN and nearby territories. You will build strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, and health systems, delivering clinically grounded education and guiding patient access pathways.

This field-based role requires 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical sales, a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree preferred), and up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree preferred).
• 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience.
• Experience in Psychiatry, CNS, or behavioral health markets preferred.
• Experience launching novel therapies or operating in pre-launch environments.
• Experience working with specialty treatment centers, IDNs, academic medical centers, or complex site-of-care models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory-level commercial strategy to support launch and uptake of the therapy.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with psychiatrists, treatment centers, behavioral health systems, and stakeholders.
• Deliver scientifically accurate, compliant education to healthcare providers.
• Identify appropriate patients and support referral pathways.
• Collaborate with treatment sites to support onboarding and delivery workflows.
• Navigate site-of-care dynamics including scheduling and patient flow.
• Partner cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Support, and Commercial Operations.
• Support patient access by understanding reimbursement pathways and addressing access challenges.
• Gather and communicate field insights to inform brand strategy and patient journey.
• Manage territory business planning, call planning, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrate ethical, compliant, patient-centric behavior.
