William & Mary invites applications for a 3-year, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor of Neuroscience (Cellular or Molecular Neuroscience) to begin August 10, 2027. This full-time teaching appointment includes service components and potential renewals and promotions under the Teaching Faculty Framework.

Expertise in cellular, molecular, or quantitative neuroscience is sought, with a [3-3] teaching load. Required: Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Neuroscience, Biology or closely related discipline.
• 18 graduate credits in the discipline in which they will teach.
• Ability to teach Neuroscience courses including introductory class and cellular/molecular neuroscience.
• Ability to mentor undergraduate Neuroscience majors.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 3-3 teaching load as Assistant Teaching Professor of Neuroscience.
• Contribute to mentoring of undergraduates and program activities.
• Position may be renewed with ongoing teaching responsibilities and potential for promotion under the Teaching Faculty Framework.
