Job summary

Novartis is seeking a Therapeutic Area Strategy Director in the US to support a holistic Neuroscience strategy across BR, S&G, and Commercial units. You will provide early-phase commercial insights, guide internal pipeline development, and help identify licensing or acquisition opportunities to sustain growth.

The role requires deep TA knowledge in Neuroscience, significant industry experience, and the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives across programs and cross-functional teams in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life science/healthcare; MBA or consulting preferred.
• In-depth TA knowledge in Neuroscience or capable to acquire quickly.
• Experience supporting multiple strategic initiatives across TAs and programs within pharma/medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop holistic TA strategy for Neuroscience to enable growth.
• Provide commercial insights to R&D project teams, especially for early-phase programs.
• Benchmark and analyze external data to inform strategy and identify licensing/acquisition opportunities.
• Analyze reports/publications to extract key messages and build product forecasts.
• Support external insights for growth opportunities and aggregate third-party perspectives.

Education

Bachelor's degree required

Advanced degree (PhD, MD or other) preferred
