Responsibilities

• Prepares, implements, evaluates, revises, and coordinates interdisciplinary plan of care.
• Communicates plan of care to team and prioritizes care based on patient needs.
• Gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment and care.
• Addresses behavioral health or cultural needs within patient care.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, accountability and teamwork on the unit.
• Documents nursing process accurately per policy.
• Acts as resource/mentor for new staff and supports professional development.
