Job summary

Biogen in Cambridge, MA offers a six‑month student co‑op (January–June 2027) in the Neurology Research Unit's Alzheimer's Disease & Dementia team. You will perform histology and basic biochemistry to support ongoing programs and independently compile data for presentation to the team.

Responsibilities include brain tissue sectioning, immunohistological staining, microscopy imaging, ImageJ analysis, and ELISA; you will document experiments, write protocols, and read 1–2 papers weekly.

Qualifications

• Major in biology with lab experience and coursework in biology, biochemistry and cell biology
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform histological and basic biochemistry experiments to support ongoing programs.
• Section brains, immunohistological stainings, image acquisition, and analysis.
• Document experiments, write protocols, and keep a clean workspace.
• Compile data and present to the team.
