Scorpion Therapeutics in Pennsylvania is seeking a Neuroscience co-op to support CNS drug discovery in early projects. You will conduct and interpret in vitro and in vivo experiments, assist with assay development, analyze data, and communicate findings. Collaboration with medicinal chemistry and pharmacology teams will be common.

The role emphasizes hands-on biology and chemistry lab work, data analysis, and scientific communication within a cross-functional research environment.

Formación

• Hands-on biology and chemistry lab techniques including cell culture, molecular biology, biochemical assays, or rodent behavior are highly desirable.
• Coursework or experience in neuroscience with an interest in CNS drug discovery and data analysis is preferred.
• Strong scientific communication skills and collaboration across functional teams are expected.

Role: Neuroscience co-op student supporting CNS drug discovery research within early discovery projects.

Responsibilities

• conduct and interpret in vitro and in vivo experiments, assist with developing assays, analyze data, and communicate findings; collaborate across functional teams such as medicinal chemistry and pharmacology.

Requirements

• currently enrolled in a BS/BA/MA/PhD program in biological sciences, with at least two years of coursework completed by June 2026; available for full-time 6-month period beginning early to mid-2027; hands-on experience with biology and chemistry lab techniques including cell culture, molecular biology, biochemical assays, or rodent behavior is highly desirable.

Preferred

• coursework or experience in neuroscience, molecular biology, biochemistry, or pharmacology; interest in CNS drug discovery, data analysis, and scientific communication skills.
