Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Director of Program Management in Princeton, NJ to act as a strategic partner to the Global Program Lead. You will shape and deliver the IDP/TPP for asset indications and ensure rigorous IDP execution with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading PM teams, managing risks, and monitoring budgets. You will influence governance discussions, support portfolio planning, and drive the DD PM department's vision and ways of working.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Life or Chemical Sciences; PMP certification desirable.
• 12+ years in industry with 10+ years in drug development program/project management.
• Experience across IND/CTA through NDA/BLA/MAA and lifecycle management.
• Strong matrix leadership and executive presence to influence at senior governance levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic partner to the GPL and shape IDP/TPP for assets.
• Execute IDP per asset with cross-functional alignment.
• Lead matrixed PM teams to create integrated timelines with risk plans.
• Manage risk with escalation for high probability x high impact risks.
• Monitor budget and resources for assigned assets.
• Support GPT annual objectives and portfolio planning.
• May serve as matrix manager for Program Management resources.
• Foster cross-functional thinking to drive portfolio strategy.
• Lead as change agent representing the DD PM department.
