Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Nursing leader to manage the Neuroscience Program, overseeing strategy, planning, and operations to improve patient flow and care coordination. The role partners with multidisciplinary teams to meet CMS and Joint Commission standards and to drive neurosurgery volume and quality metrics.

The position requires RN leadership experience, advanced clinical knowledge in neuroscience, and the ability to lead across departments including EMS outreach and marketing

Qualifications

Requires interpersonal and management skills to handle complex problems.
Must have budgeting knowledge and healthcare finance leadership abilities.
Ability to work varied schedules including night/weekend hours.

Responsibilities

Manages operations and evaluations of the Neuroscience Program, including strategy and planning.
Develops action plans based on data analysis to improve neurosurgery volume and care coordination.
Acts as liaison for emergency department providers to facilitate care for neurological patients.
Ensures regulatory compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, and stroke guidelines.
