Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program; VA license required.
• 5–7 years neuroscience experience; healthcare research and data analysis preferred.
• Current CPR and NIHSS certifications.
• Neuroscience certification preferred or related specialty.
• Knowledge of regulatory bodies for neuroscience programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless inpatient stays and transitions to outpatient resources.
• Act as liaison for patients and families requiring neuroscience services across the continuum.
• Own regulatory compliance for Neuroscience at the unit level and co-chair neuroscience operations.
• Provide clinical leadership for neuroscience operations and staff development.
• Direct nurses in planning, protocol compliance, and outcome reporting; lead staff education.
