Job summary

Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in RWJ Neurosurgery. You will design, analyze, and present experiments on brain disorders using mouse models and iPSC-derived neurons, perform small animal surgeries, and guide residents and students in the lab.

The role requires strong programming (MATLAB, Python), data analysis, and manuscript/grant preparation. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• In vivo mouse experiments including craniotomies and electrode implantation.
• Design and analyze studies using intracranial EEG data from animals.
• Perform advanced signal processing and time–frequency analyses of neural recordings.
• Develop computational pipelines using MATLAB, Python, or similar platforms.
• Lead manuscript preparation for peer‑reviewed journals and present findings at conferences.
• Contribute to grant writing and research proposals (e.g., NIH, foundations).
