Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a Neuroscience Specialist to engage healthcare providers using in-person, virtual, and digital tools, delivering expert insights on approved CNS products and conditions.

The role reports to the Area Business Lead, coordinating with Medical (MSLs), Market Access, and Patient Support to drive local engagement, thought leadership, and business planning while addressing on-label information for improved patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
• Prior CNS, psychiatry, or ADHD experience preferred.
• Experience launching a new product or indication preferred.
• Must reside within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory.
• Previous cross-functional life sciences sales experience.
• 4+ years in sales roles with HCPs, ideally representing multiple products.
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment undergoing transformation.
• Proven coaching and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage HCPs through in-person, virtual, or digital tools.
• Direct customers to colleagues (e.g., CSS) as needed.
• Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups with leaders.
• Elevate opportunities and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
• Collaborate with ecosystem team to adjust targeting and call point plans.
• Act on insights to inform local strategy and goals.
