Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Neuroscience Specialist to engage healthcare providers using in-person, virtual, and digital tools, sharing expert knowledge on products and approved conditions.

The role reports to Area Business Lead and coordinates with Medical, Market Access and Patient Support teams under guidelines. You will conduct proactive outreach to HCPs, support local provider groups, and collect insights to inform strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience (or 3+ years of B2B or outside sales in regulated, clinical, or customer engagement roles).
• 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience (e.g., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, RN) with patient-facing, education, or therapy-focused responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive outreach to HCPs on product access and on-label information.
• Engage customers through virtual or digital tools and direct them to other colleagues as needed.
• Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups for discussions on experiences and outcomes with local/regional leaders.
• Ensure customer requests are met and solicit feedback on the quality of engagement.
• Collaborate compliantly with the ecosystem team to adjust targeting and call-point plans.
• Act on insights collected from customer-facing roles to inform local strategy and business goals.
• Elevate opportunities and feedback to the Area Business Lead, including local market insights to inform strategy.
