Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse – Unit Coordinator for the Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit. You will provide nursing leadership, coordinate care, and support safety and quality initiatives in a high-acuity neuroscience setting.

The role requires 18 months RN experience, a BSN or MSN, and Virginia RN licensure with BLS; ACLS within 1 year is expected. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• BSN required or MSN.
• Virginia RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 1 year of hire.
• 18 months of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates proficient nursing practice and provides clinical leadership in the Neuroscience IMCU.
• Leads safety and quality initiatives, improves workflow, and supports staff development.
• Ensures delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced unit.
