Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise nursing staff on shift and weekends/holidays to ensure quality, continuous patient care. The RN will use the nursing process for assessments, care planning, and interventions, and will collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in patient care planning and execution.

The role requires nursing degree and active RN licensure with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NTP may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and delivery of interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May assume additional duties within the scope of the role as assigned.
