Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. may be required depending on area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning, and care.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in care planning.
• May have additional duties within scope of role.
