Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Neuroscience ICU Registered Nurse to provide leadership and ensure quality patient care on the night shift. The RN will supervise nursing personnel on shift, collaborate with physicians and clinicians, and apply the nursing process for assessments and interventions.

Requirements include RN licensure, BSN preferred, and BLS; ACLS may be required depending on unit.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active is required, with BLS certification.
• Nursing degree required; BSN preferred depending on unit.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record standards for safety and infection control.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
• Use the nursing process for patient assessments, planning of care, and execution of care interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
