Job summary

GAP Solutions seeks a Scientific Program Manager to support the NINDS Division of Neuroscience, MDN cluster, managing complex grants portfolios and cross-NIH initiatives.

You will apply neuroscience expertise to assess scientific merit, prepare summaries and briefings, coordinate workshops, and provide programmatic analyses to guide priorities.

This role involves stakeholder engagement, data management, and reporting, with opportunities to influence policy and advance high-visibility MDN programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or a related field.
• Knowledge of NIH grants, funding mechanisms, and workshop/conference planning.
• Skilled in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Effective written and oral communication, strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop research plans for new projects and coordinate execution.
• Provide research management and analytics for major NIH initiatives.
• Prepare summaries, briefings, figures, and reports for leadership.
• Coordinate workshops, meetings and cross-NIH activities.
• Advise investigators and staff on program priorities and policy requirements.
• Plan and monitor portfolios, track progress, funding and outcomes.
