Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. - required
• Associate's Degree - preferred
• 1-3 years healthcare or clerical experience - required
• Ability to coordinate and work as a team member with various disciplines and departments
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers
• Able to prioritize and work independently with timely completion

Responsibilities

• Assembles/maintains patient records and data for departmental operations
• Greet and assist visitors courteously
• Support delivery of patient care using clinical and patient information systems
• Coordinate department communications and screen phone calls
• Assist in scheduling and timekeeping/payroll systems
• Maintain supplies and equipment and troubleshoot office tech
