Job summary

Beacon Biosignals is seeking an experienced neuroscientist/data scientist to act as a scientific partner for Life Science customers. You will analyze clinical trial data, translate neural signals into decision-relevant insights, and work in embedded client engagements.

You will design analyses on EEG data, collaborate with customer scientists and program leaders, present results, and influence product directions.

Qualifications

• Multiple years of neuroscience and statistics experience.
• Experience presenting analyses to external audiences.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience writing and reviewing code in a shared repository.
• Data curation is essential for analyses to generalize.
• Familiar with statistical modeling and diagnostics.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support scientific and technical studies with timeline estimation, task delegation, timely execution, and stakeholder communication.
• Engage external stakeholders to align needs with internal capabilities and capacities.
• Deliver clear data visualizations and presentations to varied audiences.
• Leverage Beacon products and domain expertise to inform analysis planning and execution.
• Write and review reusable, polished analytical code for partners.
• Contribute to statistical analysis plans for clinical trials with internal and external stakeholders.
• Co-author scientific reports with impact on the field.
• Tackle large, messy datasets, document idiosyncrasies, and harmonize with Beacon's Datastore.
