Job summary

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a seasoned neuroscientist/data scientist to partner with Life Science customers, analyzing clinical trial data and extracting insights using Beacon devices and AI/ML models.

You will design analyses on EEG data, communicate results to customer teams, and help shape analytical approaches while collaborating across internal teams to ensure solutions meet real-world clinical program needs.

Qualifications

• Multiple years applying neuroscience and statistics to answer scientific questions for stakeholders.
• Experience presenting analyses to external audiences with varying backgrounds.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills.
• Experience writing and reviewing code in a shared repository with multiple contributors.
• Strong data curation practices to ensure robust analysis results.

Responsibilities

• Lead scientific and technical aspects of multiple concurrent studies, including timelines and stakeholder communication.
• Engage with external stakeholders to align needs with capabilities and ensure value.
• Deliver clear presentations and data visualizations to diverse audiences.
• Inform analysis planning by leveraging Beacon products and subject matter expertise.
• Write and review reusable, well-documented code producing polished results.
• Contribute to statistical analysis plans for clinical trials with internal and external experts.
• Co-author scientific reports to advance the field.
• Handle large, messy datasets, document provenance, and harmonize data with Beacon's Datastore.
