Job summary

Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support licensed personnel in daily patient care. You will assist with bathing, feeding, mobility, and basic hygiene tasks while documenting patient information for the medical record. The role requires BLS/CPR and nursing assistant certification upon hire.

Onsite position with a 36-hour week and rotating shifts. Relevant clinical experience and bilingual abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification as a nursing assistant required upon hire unless nursing student with clinical experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene tasks.
• Take and record vital signs, temperatures, weights, and fluid outputs.
• Document findings in the medical record accurately and timely.
• Interact effectively with patients and families and report concerns to nurses.
• Assist with turning, repositioning, and mobility as needed.
