Job summary

OSF HealthCare Illinois Neurological Institute in Bloomington, IL seeks an experienced advanced practice provider to join our neuroscience team. The role covers both outpatient and inpatient care, including neurological assessments, consults, care coordination, medication management, and procedures within scope.

Qualifications

• Licensed to provide advanced practice nursing services in Illinois or physician assistant services as issued by Illinois authorities.
• Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
• BLS/ACLS Certified.
• Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
• Provider shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in outpatient and inpatient neuroscience settings.
• Perform comprehensive neurological assessments, histories and physicals, and new consults.
• Coordinate care across the continuum, including diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning, and rehabilitation referrals.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and document all care provided.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development within the neurosciences program.
