Job summary

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a Neuroradiologist to join the Division of Neuroradiology within the Department of Radiology. This open rank, fixed term faculty appointment supports clinical care, education, and academic activities in a tertiary and quaternary care environment.

Flexible work arrangements including virtual and hybrid locations are possible, aligned with UNC policy and unit needs.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent must be completed and license-eligible for medical practice.
• Board certification or eligible status in Radiology or Neuroradiology preferred.
• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology or equivalent clinical experience appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Interpret diagnostic neuroradiology studies, including advanced CT and MRI of the brain, head, neck and spine.
• Supervise and teach neuroradiology fellows, diagnostic radiology residents, and medical students.
• Perform basic fluoroscopic spine procedures.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and clinical consultations.
• Engage in scholarly activities, research or mentoring on academic projects as appropriate.
