Job summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill) is seeking an Abdominal Imaging Radiologist to join our expanding division within the Department of Radiology. This open-rank faculty position offers the chance to practice advanced abdominal imaging, collaborate with nationally recognized colleagues, and educate the next generation of radiologists at a premier academic medical center.

Responsibilities

• Interpret high-quality CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy studies
• Lead a high-functioning team focused on patient-centered care
• Interpret cardiothoracic imaging studies, including chest radiographs, thoracic CT, and cardiac CT and MRI
• Perform and/or supervise chest fluoroscopy as part of the clinical service
• Collaborate with pulmonology, oncology, cardiology, internal medicine, and cardiac and thoracic surgical services
• Contribute imaging expertise to multidisciplinary conferences and programs, including the Multidisciplinary Thoracic Oncology Program
• Teach and mentor diagnostic radiology residents, chest imaging fellows, and medical students
• Participate in quality improvement, scholarly, or academic activities
