Job description

Position: Neuroradiologist (Regular Full‑Time) at Jacobi – Bronx, NY 10461 (NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi and North Central Bronx).
Salary: $468,750 – $520,250 per year (board eligible to board certified), with additional compensation for call, sessional/per diem hours, and potential bonus.

Opportunity Details
  • Interpret neuroradiology imaging (CT, MRI, and related modalities) and deliver accurate, timely reports to guide patient care.
  • Assess clinical indications, protocol imaging studies as needed, and provide patient care within scope, managing acute and chronic conditions.
  • Manage contrast reactions and initiate emergency protocols as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated, high‑quality care.
  • Supervise and work closely with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • Manage daily workflow and assignments to ensure timely completion of studies without deferring work to overnight coverage.
  • Maintain a schedule that may include evenings and weekends to support continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
  • Supervise and train residents, fellows, and medical students, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.
Qualifications
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology.
  • Completion of a Neuroradiology fellowship.
  • Active New York medical license.
Wages and Benefits
  • Base Salary: $468,750 (board eligible); $520,250 (board certified) based on a 40‑hour work week.
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • Estimated annual compensation package (including baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other benefits): $674,750 (board eligible) or $726,250 (board certified).
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours per week: $130,000.
  • Projected bonus up to $40,000, contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution: 3% immediately; additional 7% after one year of service.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) reimbursement.
  • Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
