Jacobi Medical Center is a 457-bed, Level I Trauma Center and North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. Opportunity Details
  • Perform a wide range of minimally invasive, image-guided procedures using fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct pre-procedure consultations and post-procedure follow-ups to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Operate and manage advanced imaging equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant patient documentation.
  • Participate in emergency interventional procedures, as needed.
  • Provide expert consultation on complex cases.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and case discussions.
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, risks, benefits, and expected outcomes.
  • Supervise and train Residents and Fellows, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.

Wages and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: $468,750 (board eligible); $520,250 (board certified) based on a 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $674,750 (board eligible) and $726,250 (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $130,000.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
    • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
    • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
  • Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
  • Medical, Prescription, and Dental Coverage: Top-tier plans with employee contributions significantly below market rates.
  • Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Coverage: Equal to 2x your salary (up to a maximum of $300,000) provided at no cost to you.
    • Additional employee-paid Voluntary Life and AD&D coverage is available for you and your family.
  • Loan Forgiveness: Position may be eligible for loan forgiveness through certain state or federal programs.
