Job summary

Banner Research Institute, Sun City, AZ, seeks a Psychometrist Coordinator to oversee an extensive training program, ensure data integrity, and guide new psychometrists through complex requirements. The role supports the Brain and Body Donation Program, clinical trials, and outpatient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate onboarding, supervise scoring and norming, and liaise with the neuropsychology team to maintain quality across research and clinical activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, behavioral health or related field.
• Certification for Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR) scale required or to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Requires 2 years of clinical and cognitive assessment experience and strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate extensive psychometry training program and oversee data integrity.
• Provide guidance to new psychometrists navigating training requirements.
• Maintain training records and onboarding of doctoral students and staff.
• Update department SOPs to improve operational efficiency.
• Manage departmental scheduling and room utilization for clinical and research activities.
• Administer clinical assessments following study protocols and ensure data accuracy.
• Offer clinical judgment for severity assessments without access to medical records.
• Collaborate with neuropsychology team, sponsors, CROs, and clinical trials teams.
