Ellie Mental Health is seeking an experienced, licensed clinical psychologist to lead and grow our neuropsychological testing program in the northern Chicago suburbs. This role combines direct clinical care with program leadership and requires collaboration with billing, marketing, and administrative teams.

The Testing Program Manager will oversee day-to-day testing operations, recruit and mentor evaluators, and partner with leadership on staffing and service expansion, with a flexible hybrid

Qualifications

• Licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in neuropsychological assessment.
• Experience conducting psychological, neuropsychological, and psychoeducational evaluations.
• Ability to lead a program, supervise clinicians, and build referral networks.
• Strong report-writing, interpretation, and feedback delivery skills.
• Experience with children, adolescents, adults, ADHD, autism, and neurodivergent populations is a plus.

Neuropsychological Testing Manager

Ellie Mental Health is seeking an experienced, licensed clinical psychologist to lead and grow our psychological and neuropsychological testing program in the northern Chicago suburbs.

This role combines direct clinical care with program leadership. The Testing Program Manager will oversee day-to-day testing operations, help build referral relationships, support future hiring, and work closely with our Director of Clinical Services, billing, marketing, and administrative teams.

Lead the testing program

• Oversee testing workflow from referral intake through feedback and report completion
• Establish standards for test selection, scoring, report quality, turnaround time, and patient experience
• Monitor referrals, wait times, completion rates, reimbursement, and program performance
• Improve intake, scheduling, authorization, and documentation processes
• Support referral development with therapists, physicians, schools, and community partners
• Help recruit, onboard, mentor, and oversee additional evaluators as the program grows
• Partner with leadership on staffing and service expansion

Provide assessment and clinical care

• Complete approximately 4 comprehensive evaluations per month once fully ramped
• Conduct interviews, testing, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and feedback sessions
• Provide psychological, neuropsychological, psychoeducational, ADHD, autism, and related assessments based on training and competency
• Build toward a therapy caseload of approximately 15 sessions per week
• Therapy expectations may evolve as management responsibilities grow

Collaborate and mentor

• Provide consultation and supervision to evaluators and clinicians as appropriate
• Partner with clinical leadership on training and quality assurance
• Participate in team and leadership meetings

Qualifications

Required

• PsyD or PhD in Clinical Psychology or related field
• Active Illinois Clinical Psychologist license
• Experience conducting psychological, neuropsychological, and/or psychoeducational evaluations
• Strong assessment, interpretation, and integrated report-writing skills
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience building or managing a testing program
• Supervisory or mentoring experience
• Familiarity with testing authorization, billing, and payer requirements
• Experience with children, adolescents, adults, ADHD, autism, and/or neurodivergent populations

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $65,000–$85,000, based on experience and qualifications
• Additional incentive compensation on collected therapy and testing revenue
• Expected total cash compensation at full productivity: approximately $90,000–$120,000+
