Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Neurophysiology Technician in Elmhurst, IL. The role involves performing EEG testing across multiple modalities, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of neuroanatomy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Per diem and day shift hours with on-call rotation are included.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required; Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of related field experience.
• College-level neuroanatomy knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge to provide age-appropriate patient care.
• Performs EEG testing (Routine, Long-term/Continuous, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Ambulatory) and second modalities as needed.
• Maintains logs/records, processes requisitions, and ensures dictated reports are delivered per procedures.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies (The Joint Commission, ACNS, ABRET, ASET, NAEC) and communicates changes to management.
• Performs clerical duties like scheduling, answering calls, handling charges, and filing records.
• Fosters teamwork, positive morale, and exceptional patient and employee satisfaction scores.
• Investigates and resolves complaints/incidents and notifies appropriate management.
