Massachusetts General Hospital seeks a Clinical Neurophysiologist to review continuous EEG data from the Neurology Long Term Monitoring lab and to pre-screen studies, alert clinicians to abnormal findings, and maintain montage libraries and clinical software tools.
The position involves educating technologists and clinical fellows in reading and interpreting EEG data, with on-site work at 149 Thirteenth Street, Building 149, Boston, MA. The schedule is 20 hours per week, Day shift.

Reviews and evaluates continuous, raw video EEG recording data from the Neurology Long Term Monitoring lab (LTM), which provides continuous brain monitoring for inpatients. Pre-screens LTM studies and alerts responding clinicians to abnormal findings and design montages and maintain our montage library and manage a diverse array of clinical software tools. The Clinical Neurophysiologist is also responsible for technologist and clinical fellow education related to reading and interpreting EEG data.
Does this position require Patient Care? Yes
Education: Bachelor's Degree Neuroscience required or Master's Degree Neuroscience preferred.
Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
Full time experience reading and interpreting EEGs 1-2 years required and Clinical neurophysiology experience in medical or research environment, or equivalent (fellowship program). 1-2 years preferred.
